THIS CLASS IS NOW CLOSED!

Happy 2022 and I am posting about my next class yay!
I was very lucky to teach my last class of WWV4 just this last Sunday (miss you all already!) and have had a few people reach out about the waitlist for the next class… so here is the humble invitation to go on a 7-week journey with me…
After teaching my fourth cohort I’ve really figured out who this class is for… it’s for dreamers, thinkers, sad people, happy people, traumatized people who are actively healing, people who like witchy shit — if you are like this, and also a writer… then this class is for you! some people have described this class as “therapy” (i’m not joking) and though the classes I teach are very idiosyncratic to me, and very off-beat, I do know a thing or two about writing with vulnerability …and about trauma! This is all to say that I think I have some wisdom to share but I’m also an enthusiastic learner, so this is a classroom where everyone teaches and is open to learn.
So, basically, if you are looking for a traditional writing class, this is not it — but if you’re open to it, this class could change your life. I’m not being hyperbolic, many of my former students/teachers have told me so! I’m very available and present, and as some of you reach out to ask about mentorship, I’d recommend this as a great way to work with me if you’ve been wanting to.
What else? There are prompts, there are reading assignments but mainly there’s a lot of discussions. All these things I think help deeply with writing.
A few other things:
Each person will also get a 30-minute zoom call with me where we can talk about writing or any question you might have for me.
In order to ensure everyone feels nurtured, spots are limited. I will be giving out two scholarships to a Black or Indigenous or POC and/or CSA survivor.
There will be community guidelines we all agree to in the beginning, I believe safe spaces are nurtured—not inherent—and it’s my imperative to ensure a safe space considering some deep things can be ruptured.
Coming to class means showing up for everyone as well as yourself, and a true investment in community care, which prioritizes compassion and kindness at all times—as well as transparency to self and the class.
If you want to apply, please email me below with why you want to attend this class. This is important. Tell me about yourself and why you want to take this class.
