I took a bath yesterday.

Actually, I should start from the beginning. I moved in with my partner at the end of April, and one of the massive draws to this place we moved into was this bathtub, a sort of singular regal space shift afloat in a room.

I’m not a bath person, which I never thought was a personal flaw, but I always wanted to be one and felt I was missing out on some secret technique that worked on everyone else. I admired people with full moon rituals that required a radiating bath night, the water absorbed with crystals, or those who soaked for at least two resplendent hours before bed, a delicious reward after a long hard day of work.
