It’s 300 days of the genocide in Gaza and I’m here to remind you that Kamala Harris is not your friend.
Politicians by and large are not your friends. Same with celebrities. After meeting enough celebrities at this point I know most of them are either twats, spineless or think about absolutely nothing but themselves. Very rarely have I met a famous person I fuck with and it’s usually the people who think about their responsibility to others, their community, irrespective of how much money and power and influence they have… they remember to stay humble, they remember to give back, they know they must divest from the obsessive need to hoard or extract wealth.
So I don’t know why I’ve shocked a few people with this statement on my IG starting a full-scale liberal war in the comments last week. A white woman told me I was being mean (lol) another told me I was isolating my followers (I mean) and many different women told me they were going to unfollow me for my hostility which I found so daft... like do you know what’s hostile? Genocide. Mate, I really don’t fucking care if you think I’m being mean there are 70 ~ children and their body parts being blown apart every day in Gaza because of US weapons that were sent by the Biden-Harris administration (did you focus on the last name too?) so you can call me a bitch and unfollow me all you want but even if nobody followed me I’d still be saying this shit. I don’t care if all the people in the world unfollowed me. I’d still be saying this shit. With a fucking megaphone.
I’ve been observing and learning about the US War machine and Palestine for a long time, (child of an academic) so not only do I have a lot of opinions, I’ve also been thinking about collapsing Israel and this empire for a long time, too. I’m also a Capricorn, I’m tactical. I know how systems work, I also know how systems fail. As we saw with Obama, and as we’re seeing with Lloyd Austin or Karine Jean-Pierre or Vedant Patel 🤢 … and YES as we are seeing with Kamala Harris, representation won’t save us. It’s a mythical belief that if people of color are represented the racist and violent policies against them will change. Barack Obama killed more Muslims and Arabs through drone warfare than George W Bush.
What does this mean? Well, it largely means that this two-party system that’s been created to give the American public some flavor and choice is failing (gee, I wonder why), and was perhaps never created to ensure or protect the public interests. The only thing that seems to matter to the government of the United States are the shareholders and corporate interests they are sworn to protect.
To be clear - I’m not saying don’t vote for Kamala, I’m saying can we please use our critical thinking skills here? There’s a reason why people call Kamala a cop… and I really do have to question our desperation to rally behind any candidate that is seemingly better than Trump so we absolve them immediately of their misgivings instead of… I don’t know… demanding change before wholeheartedly defending and campaigning for someone who is probably on many levels as bad as any other choice we’ve ever had for president. And that’s just the point, in order to appeal to the evil overlords of this country… you kind of have to sell your soul and your morality.
Just in this last week Kamala’s campaign has reversed course on fracking, ICE (by declaring she’s going to be even tougher on immigration than Donald Trump lol) and even Medicare For All… so… what if I told you Democrat or Republican, the issue is the system, and the system is what needs to be collapsed and restarted again… ? And believe it or not that can be done if enough people rally against it and work to change it. Otherwise, I’m not sure if we will have an Earth in twenty years…
Do you remember what happened during the 2020 elections? Biden won and we thought great things would happen (lol) and then nothing changed. When Roe v Wade was overturned in 2022 something started to shift majorly inside of me and I realized that there was absolutely nothing honest about the current US political system. I had long known that but maybe secretly had hoped… things would change... I’m an optimist, I’m always hopeful people will change. How can a Democrat president not have more power to stop one of the most landmark cases, that changed the lives and legacy of so many women and people, from being overturned? What does the power of a Democrat president mean if they can’t do that?
If more Americans understood how the rest of the world see them (as morally spineless) then I wonder if you all would finally find some humility then? From the outside, without abortion laws or the protection of pregnant bodies; the continuous racist murders of Black people by the police force; the book bans; the demonizing critical race theory; the silencing of Palestinians; the ways queerness and transness are still policed and kids are still dying from bullying and transphobia … the disregard of the earth and environment… this is all a reflection of a fascist society.
So what then? A lot of people keep asking me that. “So what do you expect us to do?” Well, I expect you to do what I’ve been telling you to do for the last few years—which is revolutionize! Read more anti-racist & anti-imperialist writers, educate yourself with political education from everyone like Aimé Cesaire to Ghassan Khanafani, mobilize and start shifting yourself, and start believing revolution is possible. I know an internal revolution feels quaint when so much is at stake, but I also think it’s the only way. Too many egos get in the way when you don’t do the internal work, when you don’t make space in your heart to revolutionize yourself.

My mind bleated with the knowledge of Sonya Massey’s murder all last week.
I think this is why I was in such a fighting mood online, I needed to get my rage out. The sadistic juxtaposition of yet another Black woman’s murder by the state alongside the memefication of yet another lackluster presential candidate who just so happens to be a Black woman… made me want to burn myself alive. Harris’ policies aren’t for the people, and neither is her political agenda (i.e. her over policing of Black and brown communities when she was attorney general of California and her consistent racist policies that seem to target Black and brown families, like her truancy program) yet I have been watching a maelstrom of people who weren’t pro-genocide for the last ten months, suddenly forget that this woman is the current Vice President… she wholly believes in the slaughter of Palestinians for the sake of the US project.
This is not a democracy it’s a petrie dish of a sick society bastioning its own supremacy by upholding the mythology of its creation… but the US is the villain and I don’t think most people realize that because they think electoral politics will save them, they think they live in a democracy when their only two choices are two war criminals, and one of whom also happens to be a rapist.
I’m not trying to be a killjoy, I’m just pointing out the discrepancies here. Don’t shoot the messenger. If we are going to witness, we also have to speak the truth. Do we not understand that’s the first step of healing? Denial is the first stage of grief.
I know it’s Stockholm syndrome, most people don’t want to accept that their governments are completely grostesque but I would feel more encouraged if folks felt mobilized to change and transform their conditions rather than accept a current war criminal with such open arms… but I’m also hoping more and more of us start realizing if we want a future, if we don’t want to die in a fit of nuclear war started by some girl bosses and psychopaths trying to invoke Old Testament prophesies then we better start understanding we need and deserve more and that it’s on us to demand it. We need to start shifting and educating our communities to change them. It will be hard, but this is the only work worth doing right now because it’s hard work. We, this globalized capitalist society that takes so much inspiration from the US, has become callous and unfeeling due to the perils of capitalist greed but it doesn’t have to be this way. We can change, we can evolve.
What is deeply menacing to me is something Ijeoma Oluo also articulated powerfully in her recent video of the play-by-play of Sonya’s murder. Oluo explains that even before he knocked on her front door the cop had already done his job. So he came to the door knowing this was an unwell Black woman, and that his motive no doubt was at the very least to provoke her, which most likely means… he had already decided to kill her before he had even knocked on door. This is white supremacy.
Mens rea, he had motive, he had a guilty mind—he didn’t believe her life was worth protection. Not from him and not from anyone even though he had come to her house, as an officer on duty, sworn to protect her life.
US citizens, this is where your tax money goes. Does this not infuriate you?
Cops being trained to kill any Black person who is “threatening” (like Tamir Rice, a 12-year-old, playing with a toy gun! or Breonna Taylor just sleeping in her own apartment! or Sandra Bland who was driving her own car and was stopped for something incredibly ridiculous!) is only motivated by white supremacy. This is what is borne in a country that REFUSES to face itself and continues to place band-aid after band-aid on a wound that is brutalized and infected. Remember when the cop that murdered Michael Brown, who was a teenager, just 18 years old, said that Michael was coming at him… even though he was unarmed… so he shot him dead…
This won’t stop happening if Kamala Harris becomes president.
Do you understand that?
It didn’t stop with Obama and it won’t stop with Kamala either. Why? Because these presidents are sworn into office - to serve and protect the country, mistakenly not the people. The United States claims it is a democracy but police shooting after police shooting… it’s almost like… it’s targetted… it’s almost like this country was built on the very foundations that would allow such things to happen… do you see where I’m going with this? The system needs an overhaul.
White supremacy is a sickness. It’s a disease that crumbles the human faculties of compassion, tenderness, and humanity. This disorder that white people have been taught to believe, this insistence in their superiority as they dehumanize the rest of the world — which is now being weaponized in similar ways by the Israelis and Zionists — will be the destruction of the world. I’m just fully beginning to understand the totality of the mania we are facing. These are the same people that are trying to bring on the end of the world… this is not a joke.
How are we just witnessing this and idly allowing it?

Yesterday, I learned what the Samson Option was thanks to Jenan Matari.
Israel has a plan that if nothing goes its way… it will kill itself and everyone on this planet as well. As Jenan said so perfectly in her video - what always happens at the end of every cult? Murder-suicide. So the Israelis have a very public plan (you can research it all yourself) for “massive retaliation with nuclear weapons as a last resort” meaning… they will kill everyone if we do not let them colonize Palestine.
I do not want to imagine Smotrich, Ben Gvir and Netanyahu around those plans… and it should worry us severely that those goons run Israel. Zionism is one of the most dangerous sicknesses I have ever seen, it’s malignant like a bleeding, crusty sore that inhales and wants everything around it to succumb to it.
In the last 72 hours, Israel assassinated Ismail Haniyeh the leader of Hamas, and a Hezbollah commander. Forget what you’ve been told to think about Hamas or Hezbollah and think for a second that these were men with families, potentially forced into positions of resistance for the sake of their people. Al Jazeera journalist Ismael Al-Ghoul was also murdered, now the death toll of Palestinian journalists and writers is just over 160. They killed Al-Ghoul apparently because he was one of the journalists reporting the current debate in the Israeli Knesset about whether or not it’s OK to gang rape Palestinians in jail.
If you didn’t follow the story of Sde Teiman, which was reported by The New YoRk Times (from now on the only times I ever reference NYT is when I need to clown them) in their piece, “Inside the Base Where Israel Has Detained Thousands of Gazans.” they very conveniently fail to mention this only until some of the last paragraphs. Wild how the headline isn’t: Illegally held Palestinian Hostages Are Being Raped By Israeli Soldiers in Sde Teiman Prison…
If you want to read more about what’s happening with this in the Israeli Knesset, here’s the Times of Israel “Torture, abuse, unfit conditions: The allegations over Sde Teiman and its guards” and Sde Teiman Doctor Who Saw An Abused Gazan Detainee: I couldn’t believe an Israeli prison guard could do such a thing in Haaretz.
If you also didn’t see, a few days ago these soldiers were taken into “questioning” and hundreds of Israelis went to protest this. I mean to say they went to protest the questioning of the soldiers not even their arrests… here’s a report from CBS News, “Israeli lawmaker defends alleged rape of Hamas prisoner as far-right protesters rage over IDF troops' detention.”
I’ve said it many times and I’ll say it again:
Every Zionist accusation is a confession.
Still no conclusive evidence of the rape of Israeli women on Oct 7th by Hamas fighters but I can’t wait to see Sheryl Sandberg and Steven Spielberg’s engrossing films about said tragedy—I really would love to hear what they have to say; the 40 dead Israeli beheaded babies ended up being a lie made up by an IOF soldier and yet, today … 300 days into the genocide… we not only have endless evidence of raped Palestinians at the hands of Israelis, we also have endless images of beheaded Palestinian children, murdered by the Zionist state.
According to Dr Mark Perlmutter who returned back from Gaza in late May, and said he’s never, in his thirty years of being an orthopedic surgeon in disaster zones, ever seen the level of carnage he said is being unleashed in Gaza. He said almost the entire civilian population who are being murdered are children and conclusively told CBS News that Palestinian children are being sniped at. These words will forever haunt me:
“No toddler gets shot twice by mistake by the world’s best sniper.”
Every Zionist accusation is a confession.
I think a lot of Americans are going to have to start understanding that… the US was never a good country and that it has always, always been the villain that has rewritten its own history to declare its innocence. Sound familiar?
What would it mean to accept that the Holocaust of Jewish peoples was not the only extermination that was barbaric, that all genocides are, including these current ones? Six million people have died in Congo in the last 15 years… how can we side by side accept one death as deplorable but the other as a necessity?
We must kill this disease, this disease of whiteness and supremacy.
Never ever forget that liberation is a global effort and so is ending and collapsing the world of Zionism, freeing us all of this immoral greed. We deserve a world that doesn’t rely on the slaughter of anyone to feed a few.
Never again means for everybody.

Don’t let these images turn you cold. Don’t let them harden you. Don’t let what happened to Sonya turn you sour, let these deaths transform you. Let them radicalize you.
Look at them. Remember the faces of Ismail al-Ghoul, of Ahmed Al Najjar, who was just 18 months old when he was decapitated in half just a few weeks ago.
Sit with what happens to your body when you accept the knowledge that some humans, even ones that have experienced incredible violence themselves, can inflict such horror on innocent people. No matter what, to justify murder, some people will villainize who they kill. But this will haunt not only every Israeli that is alive today but every Israeli to come. It will also haunt all of us until everybody is free. Israel is becoming a pariah state and just like what happened to South Africa, its days are numbered.
You are not separated from the violence of the world. Especially if you are a US American. Foreign policy - the world, is your responsibility. Like Israelis, we must learn that humility and accountability are the only ways forward. What would it mean to break this cycle? This path, this world?
A 500 year cycle is ending. I’ve been feeling that for a while. Decolonization is happening, it’s already in motion. What side of history do you want to be on? What do you want the legacy of your life to be about? This is the time to consider not only your own future but the future of the planet. How will you help us get there? That’s all I care about.
If I could vote for anyone, btw, I would vote for Jill Stein. What if we voted for the people who actually care about us? What if there is power in our collectivity? I think we can get there as a society.
Until then, Free Palestine.

As always, you are a compass—every time I read your work I feel affirmed, enlightened by new information, and challenged to keep pushing.
I was thinking a lot about WIWF with this post, and about how Ericka Hart was recently talking about how our government is abusive—how it feels like my experience the last eight years as a young adult, waking up to my mom’s narcissistic abuse and severing ties with her, primed me perfectly to start reading revolutionary texts in undergrad and realize that there’s no charismatic adult in our government who’s going to take care of us. Abuse is abuse, period. My cultivated community of mutual care is the reason I’m alive today.
Of course the difference is that it’s even easier to critique and despise our system because, like you said, it was designed to be horrific, unlike my mother who was obviously not born a narcissist but was traumatized by our society.
Our culture, our government, my colonizing ancestors, the way the US alone has pillaged this world, it’s responsible for all of our interpersonal suffering, our toxic family dynamics etc, I wish people could see that. And the genocide deniers are beyond sickening, there’s nothing I’d like to see more than a widespread embrace of the decomposition of these violent regimes, even if it means losing so much that we hold dear. Palestine already has. I feel more brave when I hear your words. Thank you Fa. ❤️🔥
Yes to every single thing you’ve written here! There’s an Iranian phrase that my dad used to always say in regard to the democrats and republicans and it roughly translates to “the yellow dog is the brother of the jackal”. They are all the same and all in service of the white supremacist capitalist system. Also, the repercussions of what the Israelis are doing will haunt their own people for generations because you cannot do so much evil and not destroy your own soul.
