It´s so true what you say, nothing is just either or... the complexities of being as a whole and the failures and triumphs of us humans are part of what comprises us. And yes I´ve expirienced that criticism for things that I´ve done "wrong" and I have myself criticized for what I deem "wrong". This just helped me see things outside of myself through a kind lens. <3!
